Bilateral political consultations between the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Department of the Swiss Confederation have been held on December, 18th 2015.  The two delegations were headed by State Secretary of the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ambassador Roksanda Nincic, and the State Secretary of the Swiss Federal Department for Foreign Affairs, Yves Rossier.
     Both parts have analyzed the wide spectre of political questions, among which the bilateral relations between Serbia and Switzerland, regional themes about the Western Balkans, with special concern on relations between Serbia and its neighboring countries. During the political consultations it has been discussed also about Europe with an important focus on the refugee crisis and its resolution.
     During the meeting, they have been emphasized the good relations between Switzerland and Serbia, as well as the high and dynamic level of political dialogue during the OSCE chairmanship of both countries during 2014-2015. They have also been discussed the economic relations between Serbia and Switzerland, proving that there are good conditions of improvement.
     Both sides have agreed that the next consultations will be held in 2016 in Belgrade.
