On May 27th, 2016 the official ceremony of handover and unveiling of the bust of Dr. Archibald Reiss was held at the University of Lausanne. The bust was a gift to the Institute for Forensic Sciences of Lausanne by the Serbian-Swiss Friendship Association “Dr. Archibald Reiss”. Rector of the University of Lausanne, Mr. Dominique Arlettaz, Chancellor of Canton Vaud, Mr. Vincent Grandjean, Secretary General of the University of Lausanne, Mr. Marc de Perrot, Director of the Institute of Forensic Sciences, Prof. Olivier Ribaux, as well as the Associate Professor of International Public Law of the Academy of Criminal and Police Study of Belgrade, Mrs. Tijana Surlan, The president of the Serbian Cultural Federation of Switzerland and of the Serbian-Swiss Friendship Association “Dr. Archibald Reiss”, Zvonko Jovanovic, President of the Association “Mileva Maric Einstein”, Jelena Mitrovic and others took part at the ceremony. On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Switzerland H.E. Ambassador Dr. Snezana Jankovic, Counselor Mr. Ivo Vojvodic and Consul Dr. Aleksandar Djurdjic participated in the event.
