The choir and orchestra "KnjazMiloš" from Belgrade held a concert of Serbian spiritual,traditional and folk music at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Bern on September 13th2018. The concert was dedicated to the 100th anniversary since the end of the First World War.
       While opening the concert, realized in cooperation with the Serbian Folklore Association in Switzerland, Ambassador SnežanaJankovićpointed out that Serbia lost one million, i.e. more than a third of its population in the First World War, but that the idea of freedom, justice and equality for all nations were above all other interests for Serbia.
       Mr. Vladimir Božović, advisor at the Government of the Republic of Serbia, also addressed the attendees and reminded of the important role of Serbia in the victory in the First World War.
       The audience was also greeted by the President of the Serbian Folklore Association Mr. NenadMilenkovic, after which the choir and orchestra "Knjaz Milos" performed the most famous titles of Serbian music in one-hour program.
       The concert was attended by the representatives of the Swiss Parliament, the diplomatic corps and the Serbian diaspora.
