Secretary-General of the Office of the President of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Nikola Selaković, during his visit to Switzerland, opened a review of the Serbian folklore of Switzerland, one of the largest and most important cultural manifestations of Serbs in Switzerland, on November 3rd in Dietikon, near Zurich.
Conveying the greetings of President of the Republic of Serbia AleksandarVučić, Mr. Selakovićexpressed his appreciation for everything that the Serbian Folklore Association in Switzerland and the participants of the festival are doing for the preservation of Serbian culture, tradition and identity of Serbia. He also expressed the hope that many will return to the country and with their knowledge and experience contribute to its progress and development.
       Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in the Swiss Confederation Mrs. SnežanaJanković addressed the attendees, and stressed that the support by the Secretary General of the Office of the President of the Republic encourages cultural and artistic associations of Serbs in Switzerland to continue their work, with even greater enthusiasm.
       The visitors were also welcomed by the President of the Serbian Folklore Association in Switzerland, Mr. NenadMilenković, as organizer, host of the event - president of KUD "VukKaradzić" Mr. ŽeljkoStojanović and representative of Serbian Orthodox Church father BranimirPetković.
