The National Day of the Republic of Serbia was marked for the first time in the capital of Liechtenstein, Vaduz, on February 14, 2019.
      Welcoming the attendees, Ambassador Mrs. Snežana Janković stressed that the diplomatic relations between Serbia and Liechtenstein, founded 15 years ago, are characterized by mutual respect, good cooperation and friendship. She also stressed that there is space for further enhancement of the relations between two countries, especially on the economic, educational and cultural level.
       In the cultural part of the program, Serbian famous violist Dejan Mlađenović performed the works of Bach and Serbian academician Dejan Despić. He also performed the Serbian composition "Što se bore misli moje", which Serbian Prince Mihailo Obrenović dedicated to the princess Maria Josefa von und zu Liechtenstein (1835-1905), whom the Serbian prince met in Vienna.
        The celebration of the National Day in Vaduz was attended by Princess Barbara Karadjordjević, representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liechtenstein, diplomatic corps, director of the National Museum of Liechtenstein and numerous distinguished businessmen.
       The celebration of the National Day was realized with the support of companies "Treuhand Anstalt CONFIDENTIA" and "THURN und TAXIS".
