At the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Bern, on June 28 2019, took place the promotion of the book "Tombola" by the Swiss author Thomas Kadelbach. The excerpts from the novel, whose action takes place in Belgrade, was read in Serbian and German language by the author himself and the president of the association "Mileva Marić Einstein", Jelena Mitrović. Their presentation was followed by guitarist Dejan Zorić, performing famous and old Belgrade tunes, thus bringing to the audience the spirit of Belgrade.    Later in the evening, KUD "Dobrosav Radovanovic Kikac", one of our most successful ensembles in Switzerland, which last year celebrated 50 years of existence, presented some of the oldest and rarely performed folk songs from the rich Serbian cultural heritage. Music background made authentic and rare Serbian instruments.   On behalf of the Embassy, the audience was greeted by Consul Predrag Mandić. He emphasized that the performance of these old folk songs, some of which originate from Kosovo and Metohija, has a greater importance due to Vidovdan, national holiday celebrated on June 28th, which has a strong historical significance for the Serbs.
