Serbia ranked 44th in the World Bank's “Doing Business list” for 2020, advancing by 4 places compared to last year. Serbia has implemented reforms in 3 or more areas of the economy, out of a total of 10, thus significantly improving the ease of doing business.
       Serbia achieved a score of 75.7 points based on grades in the areas of electricity supply, property registration, obtaining loans, protection of minority investors, paying taxes, obtaining building permits, cross-border trade, applying contracts, resolving insolvency issues and starting a business.
       The World Bank data show that Serbia is creating an increasingly favorable business climate and is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for foreign investors.
