The Association of Serbian Students in Switzerland (USS) celebrated “The glory of St. Photios I of Constantinople”, on Saturday, February 29, at the Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary in Zurich.
      Representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Switzerland, Nenad Mihajlovic and Miroslav Simijonovic emphasized the importance of bringing together Serbian intelligentsia and believers in order to preserve the Orthodoxy, Serbian language and culture of our people in the homeland.  President of Association of Serbian Students in Switzerland Mr. Srdjan Stefanovic spoke on behalf of the students.
       Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Switzerland Mr. Goran Bradic and Consul General in Zurich Mr. Zoran Jeremic thanked the priests and students for expressing unity in times when the Serbian people is exposed to difficult challenges. They, also, wished the students also to finish their studies as soon as possible, as well as to reflect on their return and their possible engagement in Serbia, where they came from or where their parents came from.
